Makes sense if its true. He's fantastic and still one of the best in the game, but there was no way the Patriots are going to pay him top-5 WR money, and the little we've seen of Tate says he can be a legit #1 threat (homer alert).

If we can get a number one/two pick out of this, it will be insane.

It'll be Welker in the slot, Edleman/Hernandez for the 3rd, and Tate as the #1. Tate has speed to burn, Edleman is pretty fast too. Hernandez is special. I'm not saying its perfect, but I will admit this team is a year or two away from making huge noise in the playoffs. We have a really young D that is starting to come together, and BB is loading up on draft picks this year to finish what he started.

Am I the only person that thinks sending Moss back to Minny, on a team being run by the inmates within the asylum like Favre no less, is a train wreck waiting to happen?

Chilly's not a particularly good coach, Peterson has trouble holding onto the ball, Favre will chuck-and-duck if pressured, and Moss whines if he feels unappreciated or doesn't get enough passes thrown his way.

If they pick up Moss and don't immediately catch fire against their oncoming schedule of the Jets, Cowboys, Packers, and Patriots, I can see the wheels easily coming off up in Minny.

It won't be bad this season, but after favre leaves town Moss will shut it down as well. Also thanks to the precedent chilly set for Brett don't expect him at TC either. Ohhhh Minnesota....

Favre's barely in sync with his guys now. I'm not sure if adding Moss would be the best move but then again, with him all you gotta do is toss it downfield, which Favre can definetly still do.
