I guess maybe there is an age difference and times have changed some. I'm in my 30s and when I was a kid and teen, I was in several fights. Mostly in the neighborhood but shite was always happening. Be it playing backyard football, basketball, swimming in the lake back in the woods, whatever, we would get in fights from time to time.
As for the fights since, I haven't been in many, but I've been in a few and done what needed to be done to avoid more than I've been in. But again, shite happens. Of the last two for me, one was unavoidable as the dick bags exchanged a couple of words than tried to get after and the other, a dude poked me in the chest. And that was barely even a fight. I hit him, admittedly as hard as I could, with the palm of my hand in the upper chest area and he went backwards over a couch, landed on his head and I put my hands up, backed up and tried to look innocent, lol.

If you think grabbing someone's hands as they put their fist in your face is wrong I can't help you.

Exactly. Dude raises a fist at you, you try and strike first.
Chic raises a fist at you, perfectly acceptable to grab her wrist or arm. He did, he then let go and she attacked anyway.
At that point, after taking one in the face from an adult, it is perfectly acceptable to return one in the face. Don't start no shite, won't be no shite. If you can't take a punch, don't throw one to begin with.

I disagree about the punchin back part. I think that is unnecessary. You have every right to prevent yourself from being hit, but punching back was unnecessary and completely out of anger

But again, she punched him first and in the face. I still have no problem with returning the favor and again, don't want to get popped in the face, don't go around popping complete strangers in the face first.
Funny thing is if a 5'5 130lb dude walks up and punches a 6'2 220lb dude in the face everyone would say what a dumbass, wtf did you expect to happen. Heread it is a 5'6 145ish female and 6'1 185ish dude and opinions seem sorta split.

I agree with that too. Fighting is never the answer unless you are in a life threatening situation. Fighting does not make you tough. When you are an adult and you get in a fight you just look like an idiot.

Women do not get a pass and get to abdicate all responsibility and accountability for their actions because they have a pussy.
That is goddamn stupid. And a huge part of what is wrong with men today, especially the ones that whine about women having the power. Actions have fricking consequences. Men let women have double standards all the time in life and just bend over and take it and then whine about "bitches be crazy". You never hear me say that on this site. Not once in 30k posts. Women in my life get called out and held accountable when they act crazy. It keeps up, they quickly get to go about their way and find a lesser man to put up with it.
