Props to both. Cooper for apologizing to his teammates like a man, and the Eagles for accepting his apology.

this is some Remember the Titans shite.

How is Vick being allowed to forgive him?

That's like someone committing murder and Satan saying "I forgive you"

Seems rather contradictory

I'm predicting a Bernard Pollard type hit coming his way.

Vick said he does not agree with his brother, Marcus, who used Twitter to put a bounty on Cooper, offering $1,000 for a player to "light his ... up."

"I don't agree with what my brother's saying," Michael Vick said. "Riley's still my teammate. He just stood in front of us as a man and apologized for what he said. Somewhere deep down you've got to find some level of respect for that. ... My brother has to not show a certain level of ignorance himself."

Probably because Mike knows he'd have to end up paying the 1k bounty since there's no way Marcus has that money

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Are you saying a safety is going to hit him "extra hard" as opposed to going easy on DeSean Jackson?

Surely you know if they go for a cheap shot, they will get fined and suspended?

Like I said in another thread, theres a lot of off the ball pushing and shoving that goes on in an NFL game. If you think a player won't target or hit Riley a little harder than usual off the ball under the guise of "trying to fight through a block" like on a running play, then you don't watch football.

This. If you don't want to be filmed acting like a douchebag then don't be a douchebag

Pretty damned simple.

The guy apologized though, so it's time to move on.

I'm sure he has. At least he didn't come across as a hypocrite and talked to Cooper. He probably told him he has made the same type of remarks in the past.

This country is so pc it's sickening.

What exactly did Cooper do/say?
