That job can attract some solid coaches. Charlottesville is a great college town and VA has good recruits, plus the ACC is a league that UVA can succeed in with the right guy

Fuente from Memphis
Morris from SMU

If I'm them, I take a stab at Rich Rod. He's been wanting to come back east for several years, just make sure you leave Casteel back in the desert.

the eye roll? Have you ever been to Charlottesville? Or are you denying that VA has great recruits?

Frank Beamer is a dinosaur, no reason UVA shouldn't be better than they are.

UVA on paper seems like an incredible job. But, I wonder if the alums are willing to support football financially to make them a power. I know money ain't a thing for their alums though.

Idiotic eyeroll gets you a downvote. UVA has all the raw materials to be a very good program.

And C'Ville is awesome.

Ed O is great at what he does, but I don't think he could jive with the UVA boosters and fans, he's way too backwoods.

Rich Rod is a bit more polished and has the success as a head coach to pull it off, but even that's a slight stretch.

Rich has always wanted to come back east, and if he doesn't end up back in Morgantown, don't be surprised to see him coaching the Cavs or Hokies in a year or two.

Chad Morris, then hire Mike Locksley to lock up all of the local kids.

Locksley sucks as an OC, and his recruiting at Maryland has sucked also.

Once Edsall and staff get fired, Locksley won't be an OC at a P5 school for at least 3 years.

That's surprising to hear. I haven't kept up with it, but he used to have DC on lockdown.

F it then. Time for this guy:

Maryland lost two potentially record breaking recruits because of their stupidity:

Steve Slaton (Maryland pulled his scholly offer because they wanted Morgan Green)

Tavon Austin (from Baltimore - lost him because Maryland chose to have Desmond Scott visit instead)

1. Matt Campbell - Toledo
2. Blake Anderson - Arkansas St.'s coach can only be there a couple years and UVA sounds like a decent landing spot.
3.
