USA vs. the World - NBA All-Star game format

I haven’t watched in years, and I know they keep changing the format, but this would make it interesting for me.
USA would get crushed currently, but I think this would make it more fun and give players more incentive to give effort.

I mean, unless Steph goes off for 20

Ja Morant, Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Lebron James. Have you heard of these players? I think it would be close and I like the idea though. Crushed seems strong

The issue with this is there are more team USA players on the all star team now and the number of all star teams you make matter when it comes to legacy and getting into the Hall of Fame.
I think there would only be 8 out of the 24 guys on the current all star roster who are team world, so you’d have to add 4 World guys and take away 4 more deserving US players to make the squads even.
I like the idea, but don’t think it can be done.

They might win, but Wiggins, Hield, and Ayton don’t deserve to play in the all star game this year compared to some of the US guys.
