How brilliant was this in terms of his legacy?

Get out of the hyper-competitive SEC where teams are spending millions upon millions to outdo each other, and join OSU in the Big 10, combining his recruiting prowess with the inherent recruiting advantages OSU already has compared to everyone else in the conference.

Dantonio and Harbaugh will provide challenges, but it's still less difficult than it would have been at Florida.

Look at what Tressel achieved. When Meyer joined OSU, he was about Tressel's age when Tressel joined OSU in 2001.

Watch out.

Pretty Genius.

Now he will rival Saban in greatest coach of all time discussions.

It's like he took a page from Bowden...get in a conference you can dominate, easier path to a title.

That "afraid of competition" bullshite is wildly overrated. He won two national championships and had another 12-1 season losing to Saban in the SECCG.

The guy took some time off, and that's that.

He just whipped Saban two weeks ago.

Lol, who cares? He could lose to the worst team in the sunbelt and still make the playoff.

He beat Saban by 6 or 7 points, not a whipping.

Did you watch the game? It's not about the final score.
It was 21-6 and the guy made some incredible adjustments after everyone said the game was over.
