As a Cowboys fan that actually hates Romo, I'm LOVING what I'm seeing from Dak right now. At worse he gets us to the bye at 4-2 and possibly even 5-1. My question is, let's say Dak gets us to the bye at 5-1 is it really a question on if you Put Romo back in? Dak seems to be doing just fine, why would you jeopardize the teams mojo by re-inserting the fragile Romo?

I say you keep rolling with Dak, but I'm curious of other people's thoughts.

I want them to start Romo when he gets back. I think it'd be the must watch TV and the melt ever if Romo ruined the season.

I know that's petty, but damn, how great would that be?

Romo should retire while he still has a chance to live a normal post-football life.

It's going to come down to this week. If Dak plays well at Lambeau and comes out of that game 5-1 there's NO way they can start Romo over him moving forward

That's how I feel, but I know how stupid Jerry Jones is. Romo is his golden boy

Romo is and should be the starter when he returns. That being said, the writing is on the wall. Hes just going to get hurt again unfortunately and with Dak doing so well it makes it easier for him to hang it up. After he leads the Cowboys to the Super Bowl of course.

I'm a long time cowboy fan and a huge romo fan. But there is no way you can sit this guy he's playing with poise and turning the ball over Can't pull him

Lol. Romo won't be ready in 3 weeks. He hasn't even started doing anything yet.

Romo is clearly better when healthy. So when healthy, you play Romo to maximize your chances of winning.

If he gets injured, Dak will be ready to jump right back in.

If Dak beats GB. The Drs. order will be more rehab for Romo. If Dak plays a bad game Romo will suddenly be fit to play.

What's funny about that?

You're saying Romo isn't better than the 1st 5 weeks of Dak? Surely you're joking. That's not even debatable. It's Romo.

If Dak keeps playing this way, things WILL get interesting in Dallas. Does Jerry have the common sense to leave Romo on the bench if the team is succeeding? How difficult is it to sit an $18 million QB?

If Romo is smart, he will stay his arse on the bench or retire. He is lucky he isn't in a wheelchair now. I've always liked Romo, other than the constant frick ups, but this team needs to transition to Dak/Zeke if Dak keeps playing the way he is. For a rookie, he is making really smart decisions with the football.
