Wow. I fell asleep right after Rafa won the second set. Rafa was cruising with all kinds of swagger and Fognini looked like he was disinterested at the end of the set.

I hate my life, I'm glad I didn't stay up, I would have been so angry, I never would have slept. My favorite tennis player of all time is done and it kills me.

Rafa wasn't mad in the press conference. He said he played well and just got beat. People are saying Fabio just basically went Stan god mode.

What a great match, especially the fifth set. I've watched Nadal's decline all year so I knew that the longer a match goes the less chance Rafa has to win. At no point did I think that Fognini was out of the match. I love the power that Fabio is able to generate with his short backswing groundstrokes. I remember James Blake beating Rafa at the US Open using the same type of ground game.

I can't believe they put Federer on at 1. He may have to work today. Should be a decent match.

Bouchard slipped in the locker room and hit her head or something and pulled out of the doubles events.

Strycova is having one of the biggest meltdowns of the entire year against Lisicki.

Sabine took first set then lost second and was down 4-1 and called for medical timeout to tape up her knee, then down 5-1, comes all the way back and leads 6-5 now.

Strycova yelling at her box after every bad shot, so rattled, full melt.

And she does it! Sabine with the 1-5 comeback to win 7-5. Wow.

I love tennis melts.

Serena v. Keys this afternoon will be fantastic. Hope I get to watch. Also I didn't know Hingis was still playing doubles. And as the 1 seed. She was looking good in that coaching box for Bencic

Good for Donald young too. Good to have 2 Americans in the second week. Both will probably lose the next round but hopefully Young can make it through. Isner playing Federer probably in the night session.

Cilic going to win in 4. Jo Willeh just took the first and serves to start the second. He's looking damn good this tournament. that Cilic v. Jo match in the quarters will be highly entertaining if everything holds. May be the best match in that round

Venus destroyed that Estonian chick.

I'm cheering for Serena, but I just keep waiting for her collapse game we're guaranteed every year. Don't want it to happen, but I anticipate it.

Serena is not stumbling and stammering around today. All business. Keys gagged a bit with some doubles.
