This was before the championship games this weekend.

It would probably be Ohio State vs Alabama

Ohio State beats Penn State, 21-0.

You posted this recently I think. That's the computer composite, which is 1/3 of the BCS. Ohio State won't be #2 in the polls tomorrow, I'd bet; Clemson played a tougher schedule than Washington, though UW had a 31pt victory last night.

It likely would be Clemson vs. Alabama, but UW could slip in.

BCS was so much better than this clown committee that changes its criteria weekly, IMO

Go back to the pre-2006 BCS system

So who are the two teams you would have playing for the title

Hey man its just an honest question

Pitt beat the Big ten Champ btw, and Clemson the ACC champ

They are a very good team

I prefer the BCS system to the current one as far as ranking teams, but this year would have been major drama under the two-team system. Clemson, OSU, and UW would be making serious pitches for the second spot. It would be the most debated selection in quite some time.

Don't let the tv drama fool you. The playoffs have aligned with the bcs computers in the previous two years, and it looks like that's going to happen today. If this keeps happening, we may have a system where the committee sort of secretly agrees to go with the math unless something really doesn't make sense, like three B1G teams who didn't win the B1G making it in while the B1G champ is #5 or something.

I wonder if the polls would look different if we were still in the BCS? Voters could employ a bit of an agenda and keep Ohio State out of the top 2, which basically would reduce the drama to Clemson and Washington, which, even though it's a photo finish, would be far less controversial. Even so, I bet the polls have Clemson at #2 tomorrow and maybe even Washington at #3 because of that 31-pt win, which would make for barely any drama in the bcs.
