ULL should file a bp claim. The oil industry in the toilet is already having severe effects on their athletic buildings.

Kind of like talking shite about facilities when you cover half of your stadium with blue tarp to hide the empty seats.

Holy frick! Please, please tell me they didn't cover an area of empty seats with a tarp that has fans printed on it? No fricking way that actually happened!

That's women basketball. Earl K Long is the home of the volleyball and girls basketball, it's a piece of shite.

No, that's a wall in Earl K Long. There are bleachers only on one half of the gym.

Ok.....so...You were trying to burn Tech for using a small portion of unused seats for advertising. Wow dude. Just wow...

In their football stadium. This gym is barely even used. The girls basketball team plays in the Cajundome half the time.

Come on. Tech barely averaged 2500 people at their basketball games, and this was one of their best seasons in a long time. Baseball barely averaged 800. So when it comes to attendance, please don't trash talk.

OK, to refresh, I am an alum of USL so I have no reason to bash them, however, I find it a little ridiculous for them to be touting a couple of double wide trailers so big. I understand they needed the meeting room space, but this is on the same level as a school board jumping around screaming about upgrading a school by adding portable buildings for classroom space. Why didn't they go with a slab building?

Also, I have to wonder about the follwing from the article:

"We're going to have a total renovation of the football stadium," he said. "The plans are drawn up. We're doing studies right now on how to raise that money and make that happen."

Best they can hope for is buying powerball tickets and coming up big. I wonder what sort of renovations they have planned. Can't see that suites would make sense. Definitely don't need to expand for more seating. WTF?

Upgrading the press boxes, suites to draw in local businesses, etc.

The RCAF is bringing in a lot of money, you'll probably see some type of RCAF sponsored fundraisers and things of that sort. The only thing hurting these plans is the oil field in bad shape. We're an oil town, need the oil money.
