I have a marketing campaign for them:

Imagine going to a movie and seeing a commercial for UL football with our fight song, pictures of the new field turf and IPF, highlights of Desormeaux and Fenroy and seeing billboards all over Lafayette and Acadiana with football action pictures about our coming season. A start to building ties between UL and the community (not just Lafayette but all of Acadiana) and getting fans excited about UL and UL football. With a new President, this is a new beginning for UL and we should have a full marketing campaign to proclaim it.

i've been out here for two years and can honestly say i've only ran into two people who were die hard ul fans. every one else, tigers fans.

went to a game two yrs ago and enjoyed the hell out of the tailgate party. my kids had a blast. everything was free for them. a clown making balloon animals, fun jumps, hot dogs, hamburgers. and we, of course, enjoyed our adult meal. coors light and rice and gravy.

My mom and her whole side of the family all went to USL so I'd actually gone to more USL games than LSU games until I went to LSU. I've always cheered for them and wanted them to succeed. I can understand hating Alabama, but why shite on ULL's parade?

I plan on attending a game this year at Cajun Field. Havn't seen the turf in person, but it looks good from pictures. Don't think it will be as fun of an experience for me this year as it was last year, but this time I will be pulling for ULL to win. Good luck this year
