ULL agreed to be called ULL a long time ago, as part of the agreement to even be "university of Louisiana - something"... And they had to get at least one other school in the state to adopt the naming convention, which was ULM. The Ragin' Retards are the ones who have not abided by the agreement.

The fact the email response specifically called them ULL and a few times they really didn’t have to was fantastic.
ULL fans are the softest people. Just mentioning Lafayette will send them. Why don’t they have pride in the city they are in? It’s a great place.

He's not just a podcaster, he's Director of Athletics Communications which is why he's so passionate about referring to UL as Louisiana in regards to athletics.

The only thing I think LSU fans can find analogous to our "branding" plight would be if LSU admin told everyone "stop using Toonces, use the badass Tiger logo we have."
