re: UL upset Coastal in game 1

Southwestern Louisiana University, that one baw!!!

My mind immediately went to Lafayette not Louisville….

I live outside of Louisiana & no one here even knows what ULL, Louisiana or UL even means. They may have heard of Ragin Cajuns but even then wouldn't know if it was Hammond, Lafayette or Lake Charles.
All they know about Louisiana is LSU.

No absolutely not. I don’t see any way the Cajuns would win a 3 game series. If all things are equal and both teams play to their capability, we get swept or win one.

Not a single Cajun fan said UL is the better team. We were just better that day. Regardless, we beat Coastal and there are threads on here about UL.

Y’all lose to Nicholls and there was maybe 10 threads. Lose to UL and it was 2 fricken pages of threads.

But again, UL has the penis envy. It’s ok to call it a rivalry, because it is one. It doesn’t have to have SEC or SBC implications on the line for that to be true. But in the past LSU/UL baseball games in the postseason has absolutely had national significance. There have been several Cajuns teams that were legit CWS contenders that fell to the Tigers in Alex Box.

There’s the same amount after each loss we’ve had. And it’s mostly people either freaking out or it’s people trying to tell others to stop freaking out. You’re embellishing it to fit your narrative.

Yep. We couldn't have shite the bed any worse last weekend.

While a HUGE stretch, I do think if we can win all our series that are left (which includes Coastal and Southern Miss), we could possibly get an at-large if we at least make the conference tournament championship game.

That said, the past two weekends have been extremely frustrating and put us in a huge hole.

Everytime an LSU fan calls them ULL or anything else besides UL or Louisiana, it's just one more day they can lay claim to the real estate in your heads
