Lets hope so. Robes teams have been lacking talent the last 3-4 years. Hopefully his newer assistants have done a better job recruiting

It is kind of comical to watch the people in the 'suites' who think they are supporting a top 10 baseball program. I actually like the venue itself. Not bad for a program like ULL.

What suites are you referring to?

The venue itself was supposed to be revamped several years ago, but the main donor withdrew his money after getting screwed in the Stanford financial scandal . Haven't heard anything new since then

Good atmosphere, fun place to bring the kids.

Unfortunately, the product has fallen off as of late. They aren't even cream of the crop in the Sun Belt anymore. Maybe they will turn it around this year but I have my doubts...

Deggs has supposedly brought in some hitters so we'll see how it goes this year. Robe always gets the most out of a pitching staff so if we can ever hit, we'll be ok.

My buddy that plays RF said they have so many changes to this roster that it's ridiculous. Hope the best for them and I'll be there for the February 26th match up.

So, I pulled the trigger on some season tickets this year. I was wondering what the general atmosphere was like for the games. Tailgating atmosphere? Attendance? General tips?

If they find a few bats, they will be pretty good. Pitching has never been the problem, just hitting the last few seasons.

Okay. So, I really got them to ensure I'll have a seat when the Tigers come to town, but my family is big into baseball so it is worth it when I don't feel like driving to BR for a game.

Why does Louisville have a satellite campus in Lafayette?

I've heard good things about outfielder Dex Kjerstad's athleticism and bat. Jace Conrad hit well in Sun Belt play and Chase Compton has always been a good hitter. If Dylan Butler can hit for some power and cut down a bit on the strikeouts, the bats have to be better. Strentz will also be back after Tommy John surgery. He has power but needs to get his average up. A lot of question marks, but eventually we have to hit, right?

Kellogg is very good. Too bad he got a DWI and Robe automatically suspends you for a year if you get one. He decided to leave the program rather than serve the suspension.

So is it first-come-first-serve for students when LSU a&m comes calling? I am sure there will be only so much seating for students entering with Cajun cards.
