Cormier has more power in his hands and probably feels pretty confident in the clinch

Im sure he does but he may eat a vicious elbow or 2 to the mouth,

I don't think this is necessarily true & I think DC's gameplan will to keep it standing early on (unless the takedown is just there).

There's no way that is his strategy. None.

Biggest MMA fight in years as far as I am concerned.

Silva Weidman #1 was the biggest to me in several years (the second one wasn't as interesting as I didn't give Silva much of a chance).

Anyway, this one is bigger in my book. Been looking forward to it for years.

Normally in this kind of matchup, I take the dominant wrestler almost every time. Jones massive reach advantage and the way he uses it and angles is the only thing that gives me pause. Haven't decided which way to go in this one yet.

Cormier is deceptively fast and athletic. That could come as a surprise to Jones.

This fight is huge. Other recent big fights I remember are Cain vs JDS, A.Silva vs. Weidman, A.Silva vs. Sonnen.

Dominick Cruz just announced he has another ACL tear, in a different knee.. out for 9 months to a year.. fricking shame, him vs Dillashaw was the only halfway marketable fight for 135

Poor guy should retire unfortunately.
Can't wait for Jones to smash DC.

Wow, I figured he'd be a larger underdog than that.
