Here's what I found:
The UFC has canceled plans for a live event on March 3 in Las Vegas. It is the second time a scheduled UFC event in 2017 has been scrapped...

"A new date for the event will be announced at a later date," the statement read...

Last month, the UFC announced it was postponing a UFC 208 pay-per-view event that was originally scheduled to take place on Jan. 21 in Anaheim, California. The UFC immediately announced it had reserved a new date at the Honda Center on Aug. 5.

Awesome JRE today with Mauro Ranallo and Bas Rutten. Talking about the old Pride days and MMA in general.

I like JRE although he really misses with some of his guests. Sam Harris has been proven to be a fraud for example. But you can't go wrong with Bas. I'll definitely listen to that one.

He claims to be a smart guy, objective, more enlightened than the rest of us dregs...primarily, he rests his reputation on being 100% rational and objective, and being able to bring the complexities of modern science to us common folk.

However, during the run up to the election he was asked who he supported. He went on this diatribe about why he was supporting Clinton and why he didn't like Trump. Every last bit of it was demonstrably false, he ignored all the Wikileaks stuff that came out, and so forth.

He's a complete liberal shill. That's not objective. What was worse was that he wouldn't just come out and say 'hey i'm a liberal and i'm going to vote dem because that's what i do'. I would disagree but at least I'd know his perspective and could have faith in his honesty.

Also, if you follow any of his conversations about neuroscience, and if you're familiar with that area and biomed stuff in general, you can tell he does nothing more than read review articles and the short 'highlights' writeups you find in each issue of Science, Nature, and the other big time journals. All you have to do is take note of what he's saying and then jump on PubMed and you'll see this. So, the point here is that he's not untangling anything or reducing complexity to easily manageable chunks for our benefit. Others are doing that heavy lifting and he's telling us what they said. You can go straight to the source like pulling freely available items from PubMedCentral and discover this yourself.

The one area I have seen him show that he seemed to have done some homework and put forth original thought is in some of his debates with others about Islam. There was one time he called out Islam for the hunk of shite that it is, for example. He had good references, solid opinions, and excellent rebukes of those that disagreed. It's not a stellar accomplishment, as Islam has been unpacked and decimated by numerous people now. However, he still deserves some credit for having the balls to carry that message forward.

Overall though, he parrots stuff done by others in the biomed field and is very disingenuous with regard to revealing his own personal biases. I am extremely skeptical of everything he says because of that. It would be far better if he just issued a disclaimer and come out honestly with things. But, to conceal your bias while claiming you actively purge bias from your analyses is fraudulent behavior.

Nice Ezekiel choke. That it tough as hell without a gi on. On top anyway, I have never tried for one on bottom. That was pretty sweet.

It was awesome. I really think there is limitless BJJ submission possibilities even in MMA.

I love BJ but I can't see any way he wins
He's too old, too unathletic, and the sport has passed him by
