It's looking like Masvidal vs Diaz 2

I'd be for that. I'm still so pissed that they ended the BMF title bout because of a cut. But they need crowds back for that rematch

Also, maybe it's Edwards who Burns will get next as one final test

Dana needs to figure this shite out quick and start putting some good cards. 251 need to be good.
These stars need to get in the octagon.

That’s why I love the biggest events with the UFC. They have Joe Rogan. I think he’s great, and I honestly love how there’s no big news on him for what he says in his podcast. And it seems Dana White doesn’t care.

The guy talks about drugs and a lot of controversial things on his podcast... imagine a big NFL commentator or ESPN commentator who talks about doing shrooms and DMT on a podcast regularly then is still working for one of those companies. I feel like some people would lose their shite.

Yep. 250 doesn't interest me. I'll still buy it because nothing else is on, but it's underwhelming, especially for a significant number like that

You can parlay together Amanda Nunez, O’Malley and Menifield at +110 next weekend

I think something is up with Woodley mental game man.

Dude probably needs a sports psychologist. It was pretty clear that everyone in his camp, including himself, knew that he needed to not do what he ended up doing. However, I don’t think Burns or Usman turned out to be great match ups for him with their pressure, feints, and ground games, so it’s probably much easier said than done.

I think he could still put in some respectable performances without really changing anything, but it’s not like he has a lot of time left.

McGregor can't hang with the top 170 pounders. They are too big and durable for him. He had a ton of problems with Nate and Nate is small as shite compared to the others. He needs to stay in the 155lb range or fight Nate again.

Colby wouldn’t sign the contract not Woodley

Honestly it might take someone like Colby to light that fire in the belly for Woodley

Bc dude is not that same after Usman broke him

Colby didn't refuse to sign a contract. he even showed text proof that was a lie. Woodley has backed out of the Colby fight once (elected an unnecessary surgery at the time) and he backed out of the Usman fight twice.

either way, Covington vs Woodley absolutely needs to happen. those two have been at each others throats for years.

That ship has sailed, especially with this loss. The money fight for Colby is masvidal. I don’t get the appeal of masvidal Vs Diaz 2 From a fans perspective. I’m sure it makes some dough though.

Ufc really fricked that up because champion woodley vs Colby would have been a great bout.

As for woodley I think the dude is just checked out of fighting mentally. He is clearly still a top level athlete but people change. Kind of like Rory Macdonald saying he just doesn’t have it in him anymore to be a savage. I think it’s the same with woodley.

Khabib vs Gaethje
Conor vs Nate III

Usman vs Masvidal/Burns vs Edwards
or
Usman vs Burns/Colby vs Masvidal

Honestly Edwards isn't even in the discussion for me. His best win is against dos Anjos who is current #9 at 170.

Meh none of them really have impressive wins besides Burns and Usman who's the champ. Colby has beat Maia who's 7th that's it, and I guess you could put Lawler in there for one of his wins but he's 12th and on a 3 fight losing streak and actually lost to Dos Anjos.

Burns has beaten Maia and Woodley, honestly those aren't that impressive to me both dudes are done in my opinion.

Colby vs Usman was one of the best fights in recent memory. I just don't think they want to run it back (they meaning the UFC). I think they really want Usman vs Masvidal. I guess everyone is just bitching over money. Conor is still the smartest guy in the business for getting his Mayweather money because lately all the top guys have been complaining about money and now they all just want big money fights. Something is gonna have to give eventually.

We know for sure at 155 they want

Khabib vs Gaethje
Poirier vs Hooker

Eventually they want Conor fighting for the belt but they can do Conor vs Nate III at 170 in the meantime.

So at 170 you have four guys and the champ

Usman
Colby
Masvidal
Burns
Edwards

Usman has to fight someone and you can do another big fight with one fighter being odd man out. Hell throw Chiesa into the mix as well. Just need to get guys to commit.

All the good 170lbers are kinda primadonnas so the division is kinda fricked as far as trying to iron out a path for everyone.

Couldn’t catch the fight I see 2 judges had 50-44, sounds like an arse whooping. I didn’t realize woodley is fricking 38, he can’t have to much left in the tank

Who do y’all think they get for the July 4th card? Any chance for stipe vs dc 2? Hoping Conor gets on it also

He did back out from fight Woodley this spring

Dana even called him out on it

He's holding out for Usman but is about to get left behind in the process.

I think those two and what someone else posted in that it just looks like he's not into it anymore is what we saw last night. He'll probably look for one more fight to try and end it on a win, but who knows. It just looked like he was somewhere else last night
