He had a hold of his back and kept trying to take DC down (which he did successfully once), and then got grinded for being dumb. Should've let go of DC and kept his distance, which is what his corner was probably screaming. shite fight iq last night by Rumble.

Yup. If I was Bader I would only refer to DC as Daniel "The Paper Champion" Cormier. You know that would drive him insane.

I doubt that's DAniels next fight. I guess we see how Bader does in a few weeks, how Jon Jones recovers, if they want Daniel to fight Gust, etc.

I just looked up the UFC LHW rankings and forgot how weak the division is. After Jones, Cormier, Rumble, and Gus; it's a bunch of has beens and never were's.
I think Gus is more deserving than Bader. I would rather see OVP than Bader, even though he lost a decision to him 3 fights ago.

Sometimes I think the UFC does a shitty job at marketing.
They need to have Donald Cerrone on everything. Sportscenter didn't say a peep about him. They should have been talking him up for a title shot.
They need to market him starting now like they are marketing Conor McGregor.
Cerrone is everything about American frick Yeah that we want in fighters. He is not a Coca-Cola Cowboy, he's the real thing.
He is one of the more exciting fighters to watch, he is the epitome of what Dana White wants in a fighter, he's an extreme sports nut, Cowboy Hat, the character this guy has, 8 straight wins, 2nd most stoppages in the LW history.
Apparently he might have had broken ribs going into the fight also.
Cerrone has seem to do all of his marketing on his own.
They need to have Donald Cerrone on everything. Sportscenter didn't say a peep about him. They should have been talking him up for a title shot.

Crazy how weak that division is now, that used to be a gold mine of talent at that weight.
I expect them to start encouraging guys to move up or down in weight to get some better names/fights for the title until JJs gets back.
Bader is a bum. I hope they don't expect a whole lot from that card if that does happen

I LOVE Cowboy but the fact remains that Pettis, Khabib and RDA would all smash him. He totally deserves a title shot , and I hope he gets it, but nobody besides hardcore fans give a shite about the 155 division even though it is one of the best. That will all change next year though when Mystic Mac moves up and takes that belt as well.
