regardless Covington not only was up 3-1 on the scorecard, he also had the fight finished a couple of different times before Usman started faking injuries after getting wobbled and nearly dropped both times. It didn’t live up to the hype but not surprising when the last 4 fights had the highest level of fighters. Out of those 8 fighters Jorge has the weakest resume and it showed in the performance and he was dominated.

I have never once checked the schedule to see if Usman was fighting, doubt many others have either.

Rose fight good
I thought max shoulda won and I thought the fight overall was boring. Don’t agree?
Aldo fight has a little more juice. I was upset with that one bc the ref was bad. I believe Aldo took a lot of unnecessary punishment.

Judges don’t work for the ufc. Dana calls them out all the time and will likely for this fight also.

Takedowns should be scored much less. I feel that wrestling is so widespread because the current rules are handicaping strikers.
The times on the mat and on the fence should be limited also, and just for some more blood and guts the final round should be on their feet.

The main event of the prelims was the FOTN. I thought Oezdemir had it until he got obliterated.

I disagree on everything. IMO there are very few fights in the ufc that are dominated by wrestling anymore. Just like the wrestler has to learn how to fight strikers, strikers have to learn how to deal with wrestlers. The modern mma athlete is so well rounded that very few wrestlers are good enough to pull off a mauling like usman did tonight.

I would argue that there was very little "wrestling" in that fight. Usman never attempted a submission and also didn't make much effort to ground and pound. Toe stomps shouldn't win fights. Judges should be very rarely used, every fighter should be focused on getting a finish, not winning the points. Usman was never even close to finishing the fight.
Volkenovski's measly takedowns should not have won him that fight, either.

Usman is incredibly talented, but he's been cheating and faking injuries well before the Covington fight. he didn't need his usual antics much tonight, but cheating and faking injuries is what his entire career is built on.
He has been doing all of this pussy shite ever since his days on The Ultimate Fighter.

Its a scoring and Real dominate action position for me.
IMO take-downs should be scored less/unless it's followed up by effective damage.
Rabbit shots on the ground is no comparison to a straight right on your feet.

Wasn't a ton of money to be made, I hit a 4 way parlay with the final 4 fights, and was only 3x of what I had bet.

He was up on one score card, just one of the 3
The nut shot was bull, shite but he legit poked him in he eye, the replay clearly showed it.
He got his jaw broken and dropped multiple times and then ran out of the ring like a bitch, not even shaking hands like a man. Bc his mouth wrote a check his arse couldn’t cash.
I think Colby is a great fighter but you sound bitter as hell about him getting his arse beat
