Yeah I talked to him the other day. He personally told me he hated to block you're right.

He is on the Rams, one of the WORST teams in terms of WR/TE depth. Their two leading receivers left and they lost their starting running back. They have Bradford to sling the ball.

You can knight for your guy all you want, but he whiffs on a lot of blocks. There's a reason 32 teams passed on him and it's not because they didn't need a tight end. I realize you guys like Lutz. He was about the only good thing you had going for you the past two years. He's a good player. I just don't think he's an NFL caliber tight end.

Rams have three TEs on the roster right now, right? I don't watch them that often. They aren't one of my teams, and they aren't on TV that often in Alabama.

I don't have any problem with Lutzenkirchen.

IF it helps, I feel the same way about Lester. He got plenty of INTs in college and was a damn good player for the tide, but he's small and not very fast. He's not going to be an NFL safety. Doesn't mean he wasn't a very good college player.

Matt Scott, QB Jags

Our other QBs are just that bad.

Being on the Rams will likely help Lutzenkirchen, if he can stay healthy. They need help and he kind of fits there.

From what I've seen, which isn't too much, he's a high character, hard work kinda guy who is the type of guy Fisher will like. Fisher being something of an Auburn guy will probably help a bit too.

Lester was my next choice. 6'2 210 is small for a DB?

I honestly didn't realize he measured out at 6'1 210. I've always thought he was a bit smaller than that. Still, his biggest knock is lack of the necessary speed and quickness. He's knows how to play the position, but so does everyone in the NFL. I don't think he has the physical tools to be successful.

Could be wrong tho.

Everyone has the tendency to overvalue good players on their own teams or teams they watch often. It's normal and natural, but like I said, being a "good" college player at a big school does not mean you have what it takes to make it in the NFL.

I considered listing him too. He sure has the leg to do it. Let's see what happens above the neck first.

I know Lutzenkirchen was on the wishlist of a lot of Saints fans; we got Graham and then an aging Ben Watson at TE. I think the Saints pulled in a couple of TEs from somewhere, though I don't know if they'll get much of a look.

Reddick with the Saints- the only thing is, how many LBs are gonna make the team? Although maybe Reddick on the inside actually has a safer spot (less depth) than Thomas on the outside does, fighting against all those converted DEs.

I really think Tony Jefferson (Oklahoma) will stick in the league. He had a third round grade before he supposedly performed poorly in his interviews.

He literally had almost the exact same punting stats in 2011 and 2012. The gunners were the difference this past year, he didn't have Mathieu covering punts..he had Sandolph, a little different.

not even close. He pumped up his average by booting the ball into the endzone on every pooch punt. He'll be out of the league and probably homeless within 2 years unless he has a 180 attitude adjustment.

Uzoma Nwachukwu of the Texans...especially if Andre Johnson can't stay healthy.
