Tulane transfer, Teddy Veal, lands at Louisiana Tech

Teddy Veal is well aware of the recent success transfers have enjoyed at Louisiana Tech.

For both parties — himself and Tech — the hope is the former Tulane wide receiver can have a similar impact as players like Jeff Driskel, Cody Sokol, Houston Bates and Paul Turner, four transfers who were integral parts of the Bulldogs' 18 wins during the past two years.

Veal, who received his release from Tulane in January, announced Saturday he will transfer to Tech to play out his final two years of eligibility. BleedTechBlue.com reported the transfer early Saturday.

Veal signed paperwork earlier this week to make the transfer official after visiting Tech's campus earlier this month. He will be on campus for spring practice next month.
