Generally how it goes. New AD wants to bring in his own guy, especially if the team is struggling

It assures CJ another year after this one, if anything. If he doesn't have a winning season in 2016, the new AD almost certainly pulls the trigger.

If he is really ready to come back to NOLA, Fielkow might even be interested in being President of UNO. But he does have a cushy job with the retired NBA players organization.
