Huge upgrade. Pastner might be worse than JJ

It's an upgrade on Pastner, but for what some people seem to think is top 20 job it is sort of just an okay hire.

I've just enjoyed the delusions of Memphis fans as once again they are having to settle on like their 4th or 5th choice.

I don't think Memphis is even a top 20 job.

Unless he's changed his ways in recruiting, I don't know how successful he'll be at Memphis.

Never said LSU was a top 20 job but appreciate the input on an irrelevant point

Tradition, fertile recruiting ground, fan support, and facilities. Arguably the best job within its own conference.

Hell even Pastner was able to take them to tournament 4 times.

I think it is more 25-35ish, but I can get the argument for it being higher.

Unless UCONN left the AAC that is a short argument. Memphis is a good job and UCONN is in the middle nowhere in a state with minimal talent but it's the better job.

I think UCONN is the better job, but I can understand making the case that Memphis is a better job going forward.
