How in the world is 3 years "historical"...?
I'd imagine they may finish up the season with the most regular season wins in a 3 year span. They may also have 2 titles and be 1 minute away from 3.

They're on their way to something historic, no doubt.

The Warriors are the millennials of the NBA. Expect everything to be given to them and want the easiest way possible to success.

Very true, but the comparison was titles, not a regular season win total. The gsw are a great team, no doubt about it..just not ready to call them historically great breh

Nah, here was the statement everyone took offense to:

Warriors have been historically good for 3 years

He didn't nail anything.

This is his same old tired take - he un-apologetically constantly talks about how he only likes "traditional powers" in all sports and only wants to watch old money.

He thinks new money and new teams should be put in their place for being so uppity.

He admits he only wants to see Alabama vs. Ohio State or USC vs. Notre Dame or Texas vs. Oklahoma and doesn't give a crap about up and comers or schools like Northwestern in football or basketball or Boise State, whatever.

He's the same with Pro sports...which is why he mentions the Yankees and Sox and Lakers and Celtics.

Well by his reasoning, he shites on the Trailblazers NBA title in the 70's or even the Knicks and the shitty Bulls for all those years before Jordan...they were new money...who the frick did the Bulls think they were in 86-92?

Celtics and Detriot owned their asses. Jordan got all that coverage like Curry now (Despite the fact, Jordan's teams mostly were mediocre.)

Colin is full of double-speak and theories and assertions that make no sense upon close inspection.

By his rationale, only the Celtics and Yankees can ever be cocky because they were rocking it at the beginning of their respective sports.

And complaining that a GM said, we're smarter than everyone else?

WTF?

Does he not remember Jerry Krause with the Bulls before Jordan ever won shite?

Oh, they were the smartest front office men ever! Jerry Krause this, Jerry Krause that...every article...the wizard of Chicago.

How about - you drafted Jordan and got lucky. How about that?

lets see ... Bulls 72+69+62 = 203 Warriors 67+73... they need 64 to get 204... that means they would have to go 9-4... seems probable... Historic 3 year run... although it would be a little MeH if they fail to win a title this year.

Before Durant went down, they were on pace for highest margin of victory ever. 3 straight years of margin over 10... stacked. The reason people hate this team is because they are historically good and wont stop being good for a while.
