Okay? That doesn't mean he's not insecure as frick and possibly making decisions based on that insecurity.

His insecurity could stem from him feeling or knowing he's guilty as frick elsewhere

Knowing how much this site loves Trump and hates Kaepernick, I expected the upvote/downvote ratio to be flipped

I love how people in this thread are openly defending DJT as if he's not insecure in himself. Hilarious.

Nobody's signing him because he sucks.

If Brady knelt for the anthem, at least 25 teams would be willing to overlook it.

Agreed. He sucks and he's a shitty American. He is reaping what he sowed and the Patriot we now have in the Whitehouse is calling him out on it, despite the last administration promoting his foolish antics.

Given his stats last year and the QB market. I'd say that he's far for "sucking". Hell, Mike Glennon & Geno Smith were signed to teams recently.

But they aren't sideshow distractions. Look at Tebow. He led Denver to a playoff win but with all the attention, no team wanted the distraction that came with him.

It's like a less intense, never-ending version of Hard Knocks.

Tebow was not the reason that Denver team made the playoffs. He had one great pass to DT88 and that's all people seem to remember about that team.

Furthermore, teammates in San Fran spoke pretty highly of Colin Kaepernick during this season with the 49ers.

He probably should be more concerned with Joe Mixon. But considering the source he probably understands Mixon putting a woman in her place.

Compare Colin's " crimes" to Mixon & many other Athletes.

Kaepernick has also been very charitable with his time & money.

Prayers sent to anyone who believes this.

I'd offer the advice of stick to something other than football if you truly believe that.

Right, which means that's why he's not getting signed, not because he's not good enough.

Let's be real--it's a combination of the two. The sucking/sideshow aspects of Kaep aren't a zero sum game when it comes to him not getting picked up quickly.

Bottom line is NFL owners at the moment deem him not good enough to offset the off-field drama/saga that he created. If he were a better QB, he probably is signed by now. If his kneeling kerfuffle hadn't become as much of a thing, he's probably signed, as well.

He made this bed, though--he can lie in it.

Disagree.

Take away the kneeling, and he's 100% good enough to be signed to a team right now, especially if you consider as a backup. He'd immediately be the best/most proven backup QB in the league.

Now, if he's asking for starter money and not getting it, then maybe you have a point. But i haven't really heard anything about offers or talks with teams, not that i've been looking for it.

Everyone is taking this entirely too far. There are still guys out there that arent signed with similar experience as Kaep.

Jay Cutty isnt signed yet either. Let this shite play out before you start acting like Trump is the illuminati of the NFL.

Dude, nobody is going to want such a polarizing figure to be the head of their franchise. It's a simple as that.

He got replaced by Blaine gabbert after he constantly stunk it up. Combine that with the national distraction, whether you agree or not, and the combination shows that tbird is right.

I feel like the only people who are defending kaep are people of his same race who feel like he's "oppressed by gms". Hell, cutler is a better qb than he is and he doesn't have a job. The list goes on and on. If you don't want to see facts then that's fine, but he's a 30 year old qb who has to be in a very specific system that nobody wants.

If you think he was the sole reason for them going to the Super Bowl, then you'd have to accept tebow as being the reason for the playoff push
