...And the beat goes on for The Mothership. Another defect. I know there's some that disliked Dilfer's analysis, but I enjoyed it to be honest.

Dilfer has always been meh in his approach, and his analysis was sometimes extremely off the mark (he's been a Mark Sanchez apologist for a long time).
The biggest thing in that article is the fact that Brad Nessler is heading to CBS. I'll miss him on ESPN telecasts, but it sounds as if he's taking over for Verne.

Only thing I'll miss are his "It's a fire ball dime!!!". Guy was annoying when he did late night MNF.

I'll miss Nessler on ESPN because he and Blackledge were just an amazing duo. Gary and Nessler will probably be better, but it will really suck to not see he and Todd calling late night CFB games.
Wonder who Blackledge will get paired up with.

He's like Mark Schlereth...started out solid but took a nose dive that he couldn't recover from when someone convinced him that acting all zany was the way to go. Dilfer dimes is one of the worst things ESPN has produced...that is saying something.
