To be fair, they had no business being in that BCS Bowl. WVU, Cincy Louisville were down that year and UConn still finished in a 4-way tie with the other 3.
What surprised me is that they were man handled in the trenches. That is completely unacceptable to let a 1-aa team push you around like a bunch of bitches

I actually saw them the first game @MICH that year, never would have thought they were BCS material

100% Agreed, although I thought Towson (IIRC) played LSU fairly tough last year, so I'm guessing they can't be that bad talent-wise.

They did. I think they were actually beating LSU for a little bit.
I'm glad WVU doesn't play Towson to open up. It seems like 2-9 William and Mary may be a more safe tune-up game this year than Towson

Reading The Boneyard (UConn's message board) is very entertaining today.
