So Toronto already has the best home field stadium advantage (especially in a World Series v's a Nat'l League team who hasn't played on that unique surface yet) the most raucous crowds, the best offence (hat tip to my Canadian mates with that spelling) , and arguably the best or 2nd best starting pitching amongst potential AL playoff teams.
Weaknesses coming into September were shaky bullpen (Here's a factoid for you baseball aficionados - LaTroy Hawkins is the oldest player in MLB history) and a plodding, power-heavy lineup with no speed save for the 8 and 9 hitters (or 1st and 9th depending on where Benjamin Revere is hitting).
Well, now they have THIS GUY... Dalton Pompey... who is essentially Usain Bolt in cleats. He singlehandedly eliminates one of TOR's two glaring deficiencies... speed.
Pompey just came in as a pinch runner in the bottom of the 7th and promptly stole 2nd and 3rd base on consecutive pitches v's CLE and singlehandedly changed the game / energized the crowd / scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 7th. Seriously - he came in after a leadoff walk and stole 2nd and 3rd (with no throw to 3rd) on one of baseball's best throwing catchers Jan "Stenerud" Gomes. TOR scores the apparent game-winning run on a walk and two outs.
Here are my AL favorites:
1A. Toronto
1B. Kansas City
3. NY Yankees
4. Youston
5. Minnetonka
6. Tejas
7. Tampa

You are aware they traded for Ben Revere earlier in the year, right?

Mate, swap the Jays with KC and we're on the same page

I would love to see the BJs whip some Royal arse in the postseason.

Guess he's new to the baseball game. I can think of Franco and Moyer from relatively recent years who played to older age of what Hawkins is now. Moyer recorded a win I think in like 3 decades. (Correction 4 decades 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s)
Heres a factoid for the OP: Moyer as little as 3 years ago earned a win as a 49 pitcher in the Majors, and Hawkins is only 42. You have no credibility with anything in this post.

Did you really say the Blue Jays have the most raucous crowds?

It was facetious about the age thing - Jesus
And yes, Toronto has by far the best crowds in MLB right now.

Marty McFly must be trying to get the Bandwagon DeLorean up to 88 mph to head back to 1993 then because I was there in May and goddamn if it wasn't a horrible atmosphere
