How can RPI and SOS be determined after one weekend?

And how can a team be #1 in both this early in the season?

Cajuns won on a squeeze bunt in extra innings. Overcame another 4 error performance.

Most of them are due to youth, I think. Freshman second baseman booted a ground ball in a pressure packed situation, he won't do that very often and made up for it on the next out. Our SS and 3rd baseman almost ran into each other and lost the ball on a couple of pop flies they dropped. SS is a soph, 3B is a redshirt freshman. Freshman pitcher hustles to cover first but dropped the ball when he got there.

Frustrating errors but the positive is that our team is seemingly hitting much better than last year. If we get the fielding down and the pitching picks up, we could actually be decent.

Starting Center fielder for State is out for the year due to a torn MCL in like the second freaking game.
