Harper's a bitch. Jk. Why have a slower less powerful Puig on your team when u have the real thing?

Puig has been awesome, but it has been like 25 games, and he has no plate disciple. I can't imagine any executive in the league would take him over Harper.

Butthurt? 6.5 game lead over Harper's Gnats doesn't lead to soreness of one's butt.

Crazy to think that Stanton is only 23, he should be on this list, but it feels like he's been in the league forever already

Trout.

His talent is on another level.

100 MLB home runs, I mentioned him earlier and he is only 23 years old already

To me Puig is a less mature Harper with better tools. If he does mature though, we might see the second coming of Barry Bonds minus the Hulk juice.

Can't imagine Puig would ever sniff Bonds' plate disciple. Vlad Guerrero seems like a more apt ceiling for Puig.

The answer is Trout. The only other acceptable answers are if you are a Nats, Orioles, Mets, or Dodgers fan.

Puig has the raw power and ability to be great, but he needs Joey Votto's plate discipline (my favorite hitter to watch) to be even remotely complete as Bonds. Barry is the best player any of us will ever see.

Griffey was way more likable, but there is no argument for him as a better player than Bonds.

Well I mean I definitely disagree with that

I just don't see how you can looking at the stats.

Bonds career: .298/.444/.607 163 WAR
Griffey Jr. career: .284/.370/.538 78 WAR

WAR isn't a perfect stat or anything, but when you double up someone and have 85 WAR more than them, I don't see the argument.

Bonds has more WAR than Griffey, than Griffey has over Yuniesky Betancourt.

Trout is the right answer, but You wouldn't complain having any one of them. Give me the position player everyday over the pitcher.

Trout and its not even debatable. Guy is great at everything at a premium position.

Puig does not even belong in the same discussion. His ceiling is an above average player unless he changes completely.

Now we talking.

But it's Trout. To have all 5 tools so refined so early is stupid.

Plus pre-steroids Bonds was definitely better than Griffey
