Replace Baylor with Stanford, and I'd call it about perfect.

We're the fourth most efficient team and most fans considered the offense to be a mess.

I haven't looked at any of the metrics used, but our offense was a mess outside of a couple games... no idea how you could say otherwise.

We had a top ten offense last year, and were top five in scoring. This year was supposed to be even better. It was a mess, but outside of a couple games, a large majority of teams would have still loved to have our offense.

I'm in the camp that wanted JT Barrett to start from day one. To me, that was the biggest mistake made this season.

It stinks that a team could be crowned champion without playing defending champs. It'll feel like you beat the Packers in the Super Bowl with Matt Flynn starting.

Interesting metric, but Iowa being undefeated is still more impressive to me.

why? Last year is just that, last year. Osu is already getting plenty of help based on that. (they would be ranked worse than they are).

So the previous champion should automatically make it into the championship? See Auburn 2011

Undefeated is Undefeated

I'm kinda surprised how closely the rating reflect the polls and Massey composite.

Overachiever outliers

UNC
Iowa
Oklahoma State
Oregon

Underachievers outliers. Mostly SEC teams

Navy Ratings# 12 Ranked# 22| Computers don't understand how they lost to Houston
Washington Rating# 21 Ranked# Unranked| I have no fricking clue whats going on here

---------
Ole Miss Rating# 5 Ranked #16 4th & 25 | Memphis
LSU Rating# 14 Ranked #23 | IDK why they underachieve
Tennessee Rating# 20 Ranked Unranked | They choked away several games this year.

Even accounting for the fact they played Bama, they all should have 1 or 2 more wins. Besides losing to Bama, these teams all lost to Arkansas.

Mind Blown
Arkansas is the reason these teams underachieved.

Ole Miss has a lot of talent, 4th & 25 and 25 away from playing for the SEC title

I love it when people mask failure with statistics.
