Nah

No one in the NBA commands more attention than him. Even in the "clutch" moments. Hes the best player at any position in the NBA minus the 5, and he's up there in that too

First, that Kobe has performed significantly better than LeBron in "the clutch", specifically "when it matters" aka the Playoffs. And two, that LeBron is clearly the Robin to Wade's Batman because, like Kobe, Wade has proven to be so much "more clutch" in big moments.

According to the tables LeBron took significantly more shots than Durant so of course his shot percentage would be higher.

I said I was done, but I just had to chime in and say that is the 2nd stupidest thing I've ever heard on here. It was only topped by your even more idiotic Bruce Bowen ranking.

LeBron is no doubt the best player in the association

I'm not arguing that he's not but he's not the most clutch player as shel is making it seem.

You just ranked Durant ahead of LeBron

How so? If you take more aren't you more likely to make more? Oh and BTW why don't you chime in with your own opinion instead of belittling mine jerk-off?

Why can't you be likely to miss more?

If someone is a 50% shooter, they'll make 50% on average, whether they take 20 or 2000000 shots.

If you believe your original assertion, question, does NBA players' field goal percentages go up as the year goes on, yes or no? Your theory says they shoudl, but they don't.

I think you need to learn what percentages are and how they work

I've already given my opinion... LeBron is the best player in the league. Why don't you take one of your polls and see who comes out ahead? I just thought I'd chime in with you've posted the 2 stupidest things I've ever seen on this board, and they've both come within the last couple days.

If a someone shoots 9 for 22 one game and then the next game he shoots 11 for 13 his FG% would go up wouldn't it?

Yes.

And if someone shots 11 for 13 in one game then 9 for 22, it would go do wouldn't it?

So, your point doesn't stand.

Look at any plaeyr in the NBA on eSPN.com or wherever and look at their splits by month. What you are saying is, it should get higher and higher each month as they take more shots.

Look at year by year, using your logic, shouldn't guys shoot a higher FG% every single year because they are taking more and more shots.

So you don't factor clutch into who is the best player in the league, but you decided to make your list based on best + clutch?

LeBron is so much better defensively than Durant he could make up for 10 of Durant's "clutchness"

It could go up or down couldn't it? Statistics are not my strong suit so just bear with me.

Yes

More data points make for a more accurate sample however

Ok let me ask you this. When was the last time you saw LeBron hit a game winning shot?

correct. And more shots make for a better sample size.

So in the link I gave u, its pretty hard to say durant or even Kobe are more "clutch" than lebron, despite what u hear in the media.
