This. All of this. He keeps them in the division race. Not his fault he has a dumbass for a coach, terrible D, and jerry jones. That's why this team doesn't win.

Those factors are definitely a detriment, but Romo has absolutely shite the bed on the big stage multiple times.

Romo is the victim of confirmation bias. He shite the bed in spectacular fashion a few times early in his career (not unlike many other quarterbacks) so everytime he makes a mistake it's magnified and people forget the times he doesn't.

Yep.

I'm no Romo apologist by any stretch of the imagination, but he's been hamstrung since Parcells left town by horrible defenses, historically awful offensive line play, horrendous offensive playcalling, nonexistent leadership at head coach, and the second coming of Al Davis as an owner.

Who knows what Romo would've been were he a Raven, Giant, Packer or Colt and been part of a strong organization, or at least had a half decent head coach for more than one year of his career.

He keeps them in the divisional race with those fantastic 8-8 records.

Thats because ESPN plays it over and over for a week straight. If he played for the Chargers and had the exact same career it would be totally different. The whole Cowboys thing has screwed him

He had a classic shite the bed last season. Against the Broncos he put up career best crazy good numbers, only to throw a crucial interception that cost them the game. Of course the defense let the Broncos stay in the game, but it was signature Romo.

As a birds fan, me too

Even with Djax gone, I think the Eagles will be better. Get Maclin back, add Sproles, and Matthews out of Vandy is supposedly a real good player.

Defense should be better in year 2 of the 3-4. Already have a dominant RB and OL so we have that going for us. Fortunately the rest of the division is really bad.

Also excited excited guys like Bennie Logan and Fletcher Cox develop on the DLine.

It's the only good thing about being an Eagles fan. With two dysfunctional organizations like the Skins and Cowboys, you are guaranteed first or second place almost every year

Remember when Romo got his first playoff victory? Beating your Eagles for the third time in the same season? Yea, I do.

People don't recognize this. Or that the cowboys have had more games decided by 3 points or less for like 5 seasons than anyone else.

They blamed him for the broncos loss last year, Cowboys scored 49 points.

Brees loses games and scores 40+ points and it's the D's fault. Romo does it and it's his fault. (And no, idiot who is thinking this, I'm not saying romo=Brees)

Ok?

At least the birds were mainstays in the playoffs under Reid and Mcnabb and actually won some playoff games unlike Romo and his plethora of shitty head coaches.

And it appears that the Eagles have hired another great coach while Dallas continues to shite the bed with horrible head coaches, coordinators, and owners.
