Seemed like he started to come into the man he could've been once diagnosed. Then his addictions grabbed him and pulled him down again. What I found odd was I never heard anyone say he was an alcoholic or anything that would've have caused a possible intervention amongst friends or family. Almost as though the people around that he looked up to were kinda weak and what Tommy said even if an excuse for himself everyone let it continue. But yes very sad..
