1. Alabama
2. Baylor
3. LSU
4. Ohio State
5. Utah

Thats right he has a team who lost at home as his top team. I think bama is a top 5 team but am i wrong for thinking this is absurd and ESPN being ESPN?

He's an odd guy.

Still kinda hate him, but I've warmed up to him over the years.

He's silly here, though.

If he is ranking them based on resumes, it's obviously wrong. If he is ranking them based on who he thinks is the best team talent wise and going forward (which I assume he is) then it seems fine, although he may very well prove to be wrong.

Bama is certainly better than we thought after the Ole Miss game but putting them at 1 is a severe overreaction at this point.

And they lost to fricking Ole Miss at home. It was definitely a good win against Georgia, but let's not fricking crown them for that one game. Maybe we realize Georgia isn't as good as everyone thought (which wouldn't really surprise anyone)?

And whether anyone likes it or not, a majority of people seem to consider it a fluke.

Any ranking that isn't doing that is a waste of print or electrons (or whatever else).
