No idea. I am a Mets fan. I always liked Pittsburgh though. But. To all Cubs fans, Maddin Mgr of the Year.

Both teams handled the Mets this year.

He was the flat tire for the Cubs a few years back. Cubs had the momentum, he caused the flat tire and the Cubs lost the race.

That was 2003...and game six. They've been to the post season 2 times since then. How could he stand in the way of the cubs going to playoffs?

Time to let it go.

Cubs say a bomb threat was called in at Wrigley. Police investigated. They say nothing to it. Gates opened on time

Can't wait to be in STL when the Cubbies come to town.

Would love nothing more than to watch the nation fall at home.

Sorry man. You're going to get an obtuse response when go for a dated low hanging fruit joke.

I think it's cute though how you tried to explain said joke.

I don't count making the WC game as a postseason appearance. I feel like you have to actually play in the NLDS for it to count as a postseason appearance. And yes I felt the same way when the Cards were in the WC game in 2012

FTR, I hope the Cubs/Cards meet in the NLDS. Will be epic

It's after the season, right?

One might even say it occurs post-season.

I'm not trying to get you to change your standards for post season, but it's certainly a post season appearance.

I liked theo's idea of 3 game series with a double header being played on day 1...of the post season.

agreed. one game playoffs are to settle regular season ties, and WC isn't a regular season tie. if you're going to call it post season, give teams the chance.

I'd like to see some bombs today...courtesy of Bryant, Rizzo, and Schwarber.

They were probably referring to Kris Bryant

I'm reading the new SI, and was wondering if it was common knowledge the Cubs had promised to pick Carlos Correa 6th overall in the 2012 draft?

I didn't know that

Exactly

I would absolutely LOVE it if it went back to that, alas it just isn't a possibility in the current sports world. I'm just praying they don't expand the number of playoffs teams as it is
