We are going to the Ragin Cajuns vs. Troy game Sunday. I've never been to a UL game, only LSU games. What can I expect as far as atmosphere compared to LSU games?

Depending on the weather, it should be a fairly solid crowd. The bleachers are the best spots to sit if the weather is nice. Get a cold beer and some salty Mr. Vick's peanuts -- not the shite from the concession, from the red tent near the 3rd base bleachers.

Fire breathing midgets for the first 5 innings.
Then donkey riding Mexican beauties scratching lottery tickets while singing the New Zealand national anthem for the rest of the game.

For the post game...
Well I can't post it with out being banned.

If you keep in mind that LSU games are not the norm for college baseball and that not everyone gets 10k fans at their games then you'll be impressed by our fans and atmosphere. We averaged over 3,600 per game last year which was good for #10 in the nation in attendance. 2014 NCAA Attendance

I'd suggest sitting in the first base bleachers… seems to be the best atmosphere in the park, lots of heckling, some funny, some lame, but all good natured. 3rd base side is pretty quiet, mainly cause it's over UL's dugout so the fans don't have anyone to yell at lol.

I actually like the tigue very much. It's a very good, intimate ballpark and can definitely get rowdy at times. Do yourself a favor and get some home made roasted peanuts when you're there
