Too lazy to look at the police report. Was he driving and pulled over or was he sleeping in his car on the side of the road? Someone posted the latter earlier in this thread.

I'm surprised he even had the presence of mind to pull over and go to sleep

Stopped. Asleep in the right lane I believe. Some reports saying damage to car and flat tires but I didn't read any of that in the police report.

I wonder if this maybe wasn't the first time. Like if it could be the 2nd or 3rd time and they had to take him in

If this is some sort of addiction, it's almost definitely not the first time he's driven in this condition.

He's being criticized for doing the right thing?
His "unexpected reaction" story doesn't sound like bullshite anymore.

I'm in the boat of him being very dependent on pain killers right now with as many surgeries as he's had. Not sure if it's a full blown addiction. But him being out at 3am is sketchy, especially coming off back surgery recently. Stay home Tiger.

m surprised they didn't just let him go. They must not have recognized him.

I'm sure they knew it was Tiger Woods. But it did cross my mind the possibility of not arresting him. Maybe he was so fricked up they were concerned he wouldn't be able to make it home. Then what? Drive him home I guess. I wouldn't rule out he's been let go ot taken home before.

When the frick did getting in a car and driving, after taking a new cocktail of substances I'm sure all have driving warning labels on them, become the responsible thing?

It's not. His sycophantic fans, who worship a guy who doesn't even like them, will find any reason to excuse his behavior. Toss his clubs in the lake ... "involuntary muscle spasm." Chasing every ho in South Florida ... "sex addiction."

This... if you have to take any combination of meds you make sure how they effect you before you do something like driving somewhere.

I am sure the 1st he told them is that he was Tiger.... but sure they could have drive him home... but why??? Is he above the law??? Should he get special treatment just because of who he is????

Why was Tiger freaking Woods arrested if he blew a .000. Cops are dicks. Just give him a ride home.

By your logic someone incapacitated on heroin who has not touched a drop of alcohol should never be arrested for DUI. May want to rethink that...

But we don't know if its alcohol (looking more and more like that its not) or something else.
If its prescription drugs, thats a different story.

why is getting high on prescription pills and getting drunk different in your eyes?

Also, I want to see this "recite the National Anthem backwards" test, or if this is another internet creation. The state of Florida has specific roadside sobriety tasks to perform (Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, Walk and Turn, One Legged Stand, Finger to Nose). You can't just make up your own as it would have no standing in court. Any officer who graduated from the police academy in Florida since at least the mid-90s would know this.

at "unexpected reaction." He's a junkie on pain pills, and I'm glad he's not playing golf and I hope it stays that way.

His obnoxious fans swoon over his every move, even though he doesn't give a shite about anyone but himself.

The media fawns over him - even when he wasn't playing, it was always "Tiger, Tiger, Tiger."

The professional demise of Elrod Woods can't come fast enough.

What a strange post. Especially considering who we're talking about here. I just imagine how big of a loser you'd have to be to go so hard at Tiger Woods of all people.

ETA: I'm not a "fan" of the guy. I'm indifferent when it comes to golf in general.

I believe this is true,,, Howevere he STILL wants to be accepted by the public... I think in his mind he has earned that respect... Which is stupid....

This is A fact... I never see A tourney with his name somehow mentioned...

I have said that after Thanksgiving night in 2009 he would never win another Major.... BUT His demise can't come soon enough is just A jealous POS saying this.........

No. But I'm sure it happens often with celebrities and wealthy people. Especially if they have had favorable interasctions / been generous with law enforcement in the past

Man, if this is Ambien, I can totally see this happening.

That shite makes some people go fricking nuts and they don't remember a thing. I work with a former Sheriff and he has told me so many stories. One time found a dude running down the street naked with two broken arms that had no clue what his own name was.

Turns out he was a respectable member of society and family man and took too much Ambien and was in a half sleep craze. Woke up in the middle of the night, walked outside naked, punched his own car windows out until his arms broke then ran down the street.

Wife didn't even hear him leave or go to do that shite in the garage. She was woken up by police.
