The person responsible for making those should be congratulated on being a terrible athlete.

I prefer the old signs they used to have at Carrollton: “let the players play, let the coaches coach, let the umpires umpire”.

Don't see a problem with it. Some parents act like assholes.

The guys parroting the worn out "pussification of America" cliche are the ones who blow a gasket when their 12-year-olds are called offsides in three TD game.

In all seriousness though, the sign does make sense.

Parents often make it way too serious.

I imagine people will be mad but if it's pretty true. Shut the frick up and stop trying to fight each other, both of your kids are most likely shitty athletes.

This x 1000. I saw a similar one in Mobile except the last line was "This is not the World Cup".

And the sign isn't about everyone gets a trophy. It's about idiots who want to jump the referee after the game because their precious little snowflake got a yellow card.

I teach my kids to be disciplined and play sports the same way. Doesn't matter if it's a 3 TD game. The world is too competitive not to teach kids they are always competing from an early age.

Participation trophies are a sign of American pussification. I have no problem with these signs because they are aimed towards those parents who want to live vicariously through their kids because they want to recapture their days of playing sports or they sucked at sports when they were kids.

I like to think that when I have a kid playing, I'll heckle the a-hole parents.
