The Ohio State that played tonight is easily the best team in the country. That was savage AF!

They'd score 10 on bama and 13 on LSU

And the Auburn team that defeated Arkansas 56-3 a couple of weeks back is easily the best team in the country, too.

The tackling was probably the best tackling I've seen in a game NFL or CFB all year

We were saying that about USC as well.

Until he retires, Saban is here to stay and to overtake Bear Bryant's NC record

I have a suggestion for you Thor.

Hire a better coach.
Recruit better players.
Invest in your facilities.
Practice harder.
Execute better.

Bitch less.

Profit.

I'd like to see us get another crack at them this year, even if it's in the semifinals.

If you want to be the best, you've gotta go through the boys from Tuscaloosa.

once Saban retired Bama will start to decline and depending on what team is hot in the SEC recruits might switch from Bama once he is gone

I don't believe OSU has the WRs to exploit Bamas secondary. Clemson is the only team I see with a realistic shot against Bama.

I'd say Michigan would give bama the best game. If you're down 2 scores to bama it might as well be over. I think Michigan has the defense and coach to limit bamas offense. I think Harbaugh could find some ways to generate some offense.

Who knows? We may find out. OSU is the youngest guy on the block and has a few more weeks to improve, and if they get into the playoff another month of practice to get even better.

Gotta be in the game to win the game

The funny thing is, I was going to start a similar one a few weeks ago, whining that there are basically two superfreak coaches (Saban and Meyer) dominating everything and that it's making the sport boring.

As long as the occasional Clemson can rise up and keep things competitive, the sport is still great. As everyone has pointed out, I think Saban has only had one undefeated team, so it's not like they are infallible. Heck, LSU was a mediocre offense away from possibly winning yesterday. It's just the consistency that is the huge difference. Saban and Meyer never have a dropoff. Anyway, glad you took the beating for this thread.
