His 100 yards passing support your stance

One game sample size vs his career.

Yeah.

The thing that really separates the NFL from all other sports is the quality of the crispy instant hot takes.

His career passing stats aren't mind blowing either

It's been a miracle that he's been as productive as he has been today with this OL

He's the 2nd leading QB in passer rating in NFL history behind Rodgers. So yes, people consider him good.

Rating is good, stats are not tho.

Averaging 250 yards a game was impressive in the 80's

Volume stats were impressive to people in the 80s too. Look at his yards per attempt. 5th in NFL history in that category.

Well he's not terrible by any stretch of the imagination. And I hate Seattle

Aaron Rodgers:
276 yards/game in 2016
238 yards/game in 2015

Dude sucks.

Now that the one game sample size and yards/game arguments have been shot down, let's see where this argument goes next.

Name all the QBs in the history of the NFL who averaged 8 yards per attempt, have a TD% of at least 5.6% and INT% at or below 2.0%, and a QB rating of 99.6.

Go!

I may be jumping the gun here but if Russ' career and consistency trends the way it has since his entry into the NFL, he might be considered among the greatest QBs in the history of this game: one of the highest-rated passers in history, rarely throws INTs, very efficient running and passing, led his team to 2 Super Bowl appearances and a title, great team leader and he's short for a QB TO BOOT. One of the great overachieving NFL QBs in my estimation.

Nothing is dumber than Seahawks fans

They act like Wilson is the best QB to ever step foot on American Soil

Already the highest-rated passer in team history, most accurate passer in team history, most efficient AND led them to their only Super Bowl win, good enough for me

Personally think he's slightly above average.
