There are only 11 black head coaches in the NCAA, 8 are ranked in the Top 25 of coaches on the hot seat. That's is one hell of a statistical anomaly.

I really don't think Strong is on the hot seat.

Coaches are on the hot seat because, not of their color of their skin, but the content of their character.
Plus losing.

Because less than 8% of FBS head coaches are black and yet black head coaches make up over 35% of the hot seat list. That's over 4 times the expected ratio.

Are you implying discrimination or that a higher percentage of black head coaches in the head coach population fail to meet expectations more than the average head coach?

Black head coaches are only 8% of the total # of head coaches, and 75% are on the hot seat.

If the number of black coaches in the NCAA falls below 5%, do you think the NCAA will implement new programs?

This is why I'd never support LSU hiring a black head coach!

Hazell has a 17% winning percentage.

Miles has a staggering 7% winning percentage.

Of course they're on the hot seat.

Neither Strong or Mason are on the hot seat, and just like in all professions, results are what matters, not skin color. Stupid thread.
