Euros.
Europeans have junior pro leagues for 16 to 18 yr olds using the soccer model.
By the time they are worth the nba draft pick they are under contract with barca or athenscopolis. Made that last one up. We were running into contracts.

Got to thinking about why we use a top 3 nba pick on younger players with glaring issues, holes in game.

Its such a gamble now, compared to 4 yr college senior.

Simmons should have learned an 18 foot jumper. Markell should learn free throw. Et cetera.

Name all the best players in the NBA, then separate them by 4 year college seniors and those who played less than 4 years.

There's your answer.

Shut up and accept that Simmons needs to go learn one of the least efficient shots in the game of basketball.

The OP says he'll definitely learn that jumpshot better from LSU coaches as opposed to NBA coaches!!!

yeah, they can work on these issues without practice time restrictions or worrying about class, better nutrition, and much, much better coaching & training.

And Lebron should have learned to be better than Michael before entering the NBA.

The other side of this is the guy is usually a 4th year senior because he's not as physically talented as those freshmen that bolt early.

Also, that senior is often more technically sound than the younger players, but he's already close to his ceiling.
