This is worse. This isn't one bad game (or series of plays tbh). This is getting beaten, straight up, over a series, by a team that is fundamentally better

Fair, but like I mentioned in the in-game thread, you remember that 2001 Seattle team, as do many of us, but you probably can't name the 2001 World Series champion off the top of your head.

yeah no

i can remember both, but more people will definitely remember the diamondbacks winning the world series over the mariners' regular season. especially considering the yankees won 114 games just 3 years before.

n 15 years, you'll remember that Golden State won 73 games and you won't remember who won the 2016 NBA title.

and we'll also remember that their 73 wins didn't mean shite compared to the thunder/cavs title

Pretty shocking. I really thought of OKC as a complete afterthought. GSW may not win another game. They are done.

GSW has more riding on this than Patriots did.

The previous championship was only due to two starters out with injuries. 6 games without two starters.

Ws consider themselves the underdogs.

A really good team that no one will talk about because they couldn't win it all.

People talk about the 18-1 pats all the time

Patriots only had 1 chance. Warriors lost a 7 game series. Much easier to be upset in the best of 1.
