Anything that appeals to anyone is kept locked away—literally, in some cases—and only brought out if you pay for it. And what’s been permanently banished is any sense of generosity.”

Haven't been to this site in over a year at least... 'til tonight.
I forgot how it's regarded as a capital offense to post anything here that perhaps has been posted before. Had I recalled the unrelenting nature of such unyielding pettiness, I wouldn't have bothered. ;-)
Nonetheless, if you haven't read this piece, it's an interesting read... and speaks well to the power of the greed that will very likely ultimately destroy college football.

What's really keeping kids out is the 300 ticket packages. General Admission usually works much better than segregated seating at other schools
