While I don't see Nadal getting past Murray, Ferrer is probably the best 4th round matchup he could have hoped for.

Cilic/Nishikori will probably be the best 4th round matchup. Rematch of last year's US Open final.

Winner gets Djokovic. Who do you think he'd rather see? I'd imagine Cilic.

Don't you think he would rather see Nishikori on the grass? I think the bombers always have a chance on grass, and he (Cilic) does have a Ivaniševic to help him navigate the draw. Cilic is one of the more intriguing picks outside the big 4 + Wawrinka.

True, just depends on what Cilic looks like. I'm sure he's still not at the same level he was last year, because of his injury.

I tend to forget about defensive baseliners at this tournament - so I am really really interested to see what we get out of Andy Murray this year. Is he perhaps back to pre-injury 2013/early 2014 form? I think his grass court game is underrated because he is pegged as a defensive baseliner, but Borg did win five Wimbledons playing that style and on the Women's side Chris Evert won three times playing in the same era as arguably the greatest female net player of all time.

I have Murray winning this one. You going to keep this thread updated with lines and what you play?

I"m not sure who BR is, but I don't think I'll be playing this tournament *that* much. Or maybe I'll change my mind as it gets closer. Grass court tennis is tricky.

Nishikori is coming off of a calf injury/strain and Cilic has been dealing with a chronic shoulder injury all season. Doubt either really poses a threat for Djoker.

Decent interview with Roddick in the NY Times as he is about to do some commentary with BBC at Wimbledon. You can tell he thinks he could beat most guys with a ton of work/effort, but no chance against the top five.

Q. Still, as innately competitive as you are, it must be strange to watch tennis knowing that you could still be out there?

A. It is and it isn’t. Beating a guy handily who is 60 in the world is a lot different than trying to play in the semis of a Grand Slam. So one makes me very happy, and I like it. It’s fun. I have an ego, but the reality of being able to do it time and time again is different. Every time I watch a Wawrinka-Djokovic final I’m going, “I’m soooo good where I’m at.”

Roddick has too big of an ego to put himself in a position where he could lose to guys outside the top 20 in the world.

So, Ferrer has withdrawn. A lucky loser took his place. Not sure if this is true, but people are saying that if he pulled out an hour earlier, Cilic or Isner would have been put in his spot. If so, dirty Spaniards.

It's been four years since Nadal has made it beyond the 4th round at Wimbledon. Guess today was his lucky day.

If only they used the same ingenuity and tenacity to fix their economy as well.

Hewitt goes out in his last Wimbledon.

Not that Djokovic is going to lose before the semis or anything, but his draw from the very 1st round is very tough.
