are going to be a force to reckon with in the playoffs as long as Carpenter stays healthy. Still think the Phillies are going to have too much, but the Cards will give them all they want.

shite, the Dodgers have to play good ball the rest of the way just to win the division. St. Louis has whipped their asses in the last 5 games as well. The Cardinals are set up wonderfully for the post-season as long as they get there. And as big a Cubs fan as I am, it would take St. Louis to fall flat on its face to lose the division to this Cubs team.

With a 1-2 punch with Carpenter and Wainwright, they're gonna be a tough out in the playoffs.
If Pineiro pitches in the playoffs(as a 3rd starter) like he has in the regular season thus far, they could make a run.
