Only thing I can think of is that they're intentionally trying to downplay him a bit. These Masters people are real funny about any one person overshadowing the event.

I find it absolutely amazing that the Masters does not allow any of the networks to broadcast the ENTIRE tourney....
There is no reason that ESPN or The Golf Channel shouldn't have been broadcasting since 8am

Ratings will be higher for the 3 hours that is shown vs 7 hours of coverage spread out.

Correct about the money. They limit access so when you finally get to have access it makes it that much better -- IMO
eta: and I am sure they can charge higher fees for the few spots that they sell ...
