Who takes over the honorary start of the tournament after the Nicklaus and Player are not longer alive or able to perform the ceremony?

Do they have Eldrick participate since he's near retirement, or do they go another route? Couples?

Depends on how far into the future this occurs. There aren't many legendary players waiting the wings until you get to the Tiger and Phil era.

Watson, Olazabal, Couples, Faldo are possibilities.

He's going to be too busy GOAT-ing around the country and getting into the Pro Football HOF.

Tiger has 4
Phil and Faldo have 3
Watson, Langer, and Crenshaw have 2

Faldo, Tiger, and Phil will be the next big 3

Since Eldrick is about to retire it'll be him with Watson and Crenshaw.

Snoop looked pretty good on the tee box. He could take it on as well.
