The lineup for ESPN's CFP Championship Megacast is out

Really enjoy the different telecast ESPN provides for the Championship game. I for one primarily the coach's Film Room where they bring top coaches and break down the game as it happens. But this year Voices should be the highlight because the great Bill Walton will be brought in to give his "analysis" LIVE with a hot mic. Who knows what direction that telecast goes

The main broadcast, as usual, will be aired on the mothership, ESPN. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be in the booth and Samanta Ponder and Tom Rinaldi will be on the sideline for on-the-field interviews and coverage.
The most ridiculous broadcast every year is the ESPN Voices telecast on ESPNU, which features several ESPN personalities watching the game and giving their own running commentary on the game. This year, the featured ESPNers include Michelle Beadle and Marcellus Wiley of SportsNation, Keyshawn Johnson, and, to our sheer pleasure, Bill Walton. Hopefully, Teddy Atlas, who shined last year, shows up again.
For those looking for a little more insight, the brilliant Coaches Film Room broadcast on ESPNEWS may be the winner. This year’s coaches film room broadcast will have head coaches Dino Babers (Syracuse), PJ Fleck (Western Michigan), Mike MacIntyre (Colorado), and Matt Rhule (Baylor), as well as former Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich. The quintet will also be joined by ESPN analyst Brian Griese. The best news of all for those watching the coaches film room will be fewer commercial interruption. In past years, the commercials would roll just as some of the commentary from the coaches was really digging in, so it’s good to see that has been addressed this year.
Another good option will be aired on the SEC Network with Finebaum Film Room. This follows a similar strategy to the Coaches Film Room channel, but with a tad more of an SEC flair. Paul Finebaum will be joined by a pair of ESPN analysts, former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy and Booger McFarland, as well as Florida head coach Jim McElwain (who was on the standard Film Room broadcast last year).
ESPN2 will be the designated “Homers Telecast,” with former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd and former Alabama offensive lineman Barrett Jones both returning from last year to provide their biased opinions, if you’re up for that. Joe Tessitore will be the play by play broadcaster for that feed, wit Adam Amin also chipping in. All four will call the game from field level.

Thanks, I was going to look for this this morning when I heard Tessitore on College Sports Nation. I love the Finebaum crew, but found that got boring after a while -- Butterteeth shooting off some zingers should be funny. The coaches film room was terrible last year with too many guys, but with Fleck and Babers, that might be awesome. The Voices one was so arrogant/douchenozzle last year (get try hard Beadle out of there), but Bill might make it worth some time.

Marcellus and Walton will be great together

Yeah the Film Room is the way I watch the game because I just love the technical X's and O's conversations, hate when analyst try to dumb things down. It was a little clunky last year but this seems promising with giving them limited commercial interruption. That should be intriguing for those who hates the constant cuts to commercials on the main broadcast

Should've gotten Les for coaches broadcast

Man, that wouldve been interesting. It would've definitely stop the notion that Les is a dope. I'm sure they asked him

Obviously I'll be wherever Bill is.

this is going to be hard to turn down
ESPN will never, and i mean NEVER have a show as entertaining as that first Voices

I can't wait for the people that unknowingly tune to ESPN2 and complain in the game thread about how biased the announcers are.

CBS/TNT has done homer channels for the final four the last few years. I know some Mich St fans who were outraged that the game against Duke was so biased two years ago, not realizing it was the Duke homer telecast.

The film room is great. I'm not a huge fan of the coaches this this year, though. I guess we'll see.
Last year having Muschamp and McElwain on there breaking down what Saban was doing was pretty great stuff.

So no more Sounds of the Game broadcast? Last year they had the broadcast with no commentary, where you just heard crowd noise and the the PA announcer. I thought it was great.

You should've seen Twitter last year

It may be on ESPN 3, wasn't listed, but I'm sure they'll have it

Need to bring back the original crew.

I think I heard that Finebaum & McElwin will be on together. Talk about horrible television.

Yeah SECN will not be an option for me
